A wide-wind area breeze-based power generation system, comprising: a first tower frame (1), a second tower frame (2), a circular impeller (3), and at least one gear coupling generator (4). The first tower frame (1) and the second tower frame (2) are oppositely disposed, and a gap is provided between the first tower frame (1) and the second tower frame (2). The outer surface of the impeller (3) is provided with a gear (31). The impeller (3) is disposed in the gap and is fixed to the first tower frame (1) and to the second tower frame (2) by means of a central axis passing through the center of the impeller (3). The impeller (3) can rotate about the central axis. The gear coupling generator (4) is disposed on the ends of the first tower frame (1) and of the second tower frame (2) close to the ground and meshes with the gear (31). The present system enables the maintenance work of the power generation system to be completed at a low altitude, so that the complexity, danger, and maintenance cost of the system maintenance work are lowered. In addition, the low-altitude installation and operation of a wind turbine can reduce the noise of the power generation system, can also protect same as well, and avoid the environmental erosion to the wind turbine.
