Abstract:
Provided is a yaw turning control method for a wind power generation device, which does not require a yaw motor, and is useful to reduce the cost and the size/weight of a nacelle. The control portion (20) performs a yaw turning control, i.e., outputs pitch angle instruction values (θ1, θ2, θ3) for a yaw turning to a pitch driving portion (21), to drive the front surface of a vane rotational plane in a windward direction when the wind power generation device is activated, in accordance with a deviation between wind direction information (θw) obtained from a wind direction detecting portion (30) and a current yaw angle (θz) obtained from a yaw turning position detecting portion (40). The yaw turning control includes a process to control a vane pitch angle at a predetermined azimuth angle.
