Abstract:
A blade surface finishing method, wherein: separate steps are used for finishing the anterior edge portion (S1a) and trailing edge portion (S1t) of the blade surface (S1) of a blade component (M1) and for finishing a ventral portion (S1v) and a back portion (S1b); the ventral portion (P1v) and back portion (P1b), respectively, of the blade-surface-corresponding region (P1) of a workpiece (W1) are approached at an increased speed to perform a finishing process; and a finishing end mill (30) is withdrawn from the blade surface-corresponding portion (P1) of the workpiece (W1), and is then slowed down.
