Abstract:
A lint-free wiper which comprises a nonwoven fabric made of long fibers of polyvinyl alcohol having a viscosity-average degree of polymerization of 200 to 700 and a melting point of 160 to 230�C. It has excellent lint-free properties. It further has a high affinity for water and has properties such as water-absorbing properties, hydrophilicity, and the property of swelling in water.
