Abstract:
Provided are a wireless communication device and a control method for a wireless communication device with which it is possible to appropriately perform a voice call between users. A wireless communication device according to the present disclosure comprises: a voice acquisition unit that acquires a voice acquired by a microphone for acquiring the spoken voice of a user; a communication control unit that transmits the voice acquired by the voice acquisition unit to another device set in advance; a detection unit that detects that the user's environment is imposing a large physical load on the user; and a limitation processing unit that, if it is detected by the detection unit that the environment is imposing a large physical load on the user, limits the transmission by the communication control unit of the voice acquired by the voice acquisition unit.
