Abstract:
Provided are a wireless communication method and a terminal device. For an HARQ process, the feedback function of which is disabled, a terminal device starts or restarts a DRX inactivity timer after uplink transmission with dynamic scheduling, downlink transmission with dynamic scheduling, pre-configured resource uplink transmission and pre-configured resource uplink and downlink transmission; therefore, the terminal device can continue to monitor a PDCCH after executing these operations, such that the terminal device can persistently schedule, in NTN, the continuous reception of retransmission or new transmission for a network device. The wireless communication method comprises: for an HARQ process, the feedback function of which is disabled, a terminal device starting or restarting a DRX inactivity timer after executing a first operation, wherein the first operation comprises at least one of the following: receiving downlink dynamic scheduling signaling, receiving uplink dynamic scheduling signaling, receiving an MAC PDU on a downlink pre-configured resource, and sending the MAC PDU on an uplink pre-configured resource.
