Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application provide a wireless communication method and a terminal device. The method comprises: sending an SR on an uplink carrier; and after a target time offset from sending the SR, the SR being in a pending state, and entering a DRX active time, wherein the target time offset is determined according to a transmission delay of the SR on the uplink carrier and a signal transmission delay on at least one downlink carrier, and the at least one downlink carrier is a downlink carrier activated between a terminal device and a base station. According to the present invention, the target time offset can be determined, and thus the scheduling performance can be ensured, and the requirements for energy saving of a terminal can be met.
