Abstract:

A wireless communication device (2) which is connected to an information providing server (4) via a network (3) and installed in an access point for relaying information providing service from the server (4) to a mobile terminal (1) having a short−distance wireless communication function, and which comprises a network interface (26) for connection to a network (3), a wireless communication interface (21) for conducting a short−distance wireless communication with the mobile terminal (1), a connection information exchanging unit (25) for exchanging connection information to establish communication with the mobile terminal (1) prior to short−distance wireless communication with the mobile terminal (1), and a wireless communication control unit (24) for controlling connection information exchanging by the connection information exchanging unit (25) and establishing of communication with the mobile terminal (1) by the wireless communication interface (21).
