Abstract:
This wireless transmission system is provided with: a wireless transmission unit having an input unit to which are input, as input signals, a first video signal to which auxiliary information containing identification information of a high-definition 3D/2D video signal has been added or a second video signal not containing identification information, a video signal extraction unit that extracts the high-definition video signal or second video signal from the input signal, an auxiliary information extraction unit that extracts the auxiliary information, a wireless video transmitter that wirelessly transmits the extracted high-definition video signal or second video signal, and the like; and a wireless reception unit having a wireless video receiver that receives the wirelessly transmitted high-definition video signal or second video signal, a wireless auxiliary information receiver that receives the wirelessly transmitted auxiliary information, and the like.
