Abstract:

A work machine comprising: a tape feeder in which a taped component in which lead components having a plurality of leads are taped extends, and which supplies the lead components having been detached from the extending taped component at a supply position; a mounting head for mounting the lead components supplied by the tape feeder to a substrate; an image-capture device; and a control device. The control device includes: an image-capture unit which captures, using an image-capture device, an image of an identifying object which enables identification of the polarity of each of the plurality of leads and which is marked on the taped component extended in the tape feeder; and a determination unit which, on the basis of image-capture data obtained by capturing the image by means of the image-capture unit, determines whether an actual polarity arrangement that is the arrangement of the polarity of each of the plurality of leads of the taped component extended in the tape feeder, matches a set polarity arrangement that is a preset arrangement of the polarity of each of the plurality of leads.
