Abstract:
In a working method for a cylinder block (1), a cylinder bore (4) is finished in
such a state by pushing the portion of a bolt phase for fastening a cylinder head
in a cylinder portion outer circumference (15) forming the inner face of a water
jacket (6), that the rigidity of the pushed portion in a cylinder portion (5) against
the pressure from the side of a cylinder body (4) (or the bearing pressure from
grinding stones (43) by honing works) is enhanced with respect to other portions.
