Abstract:
Provided is a wound core in which a non-heat-resistant magnetic domain refining member is used for at least a portion of a raw material that constitutes the wound core, the wound core being exceptional in terms of the iron-loss-reducing effect. The wound core has a planar section and a corner part adjacent to the planar section. The planar section has a lap part, and the corner part has a bent part. A non-heat-resistant magnetic domain refining member is used for at least a portion of the raw material that constitutes the wound core. In the non-heat-resistant magnetic domain refining member is formed a closure domain extending in a direction that crosses the longitudinal direction. The longitudinal-direction cross-section area of the closure domain exceeds 7500 µm2. In the lap part, the ratio of the number of lap junctions having a lap margin of 3.0-30 mm (inclusive) to the total number of lap junctions is 50% or greater.
