Abstract:
An X-ray detection sub-module according to the present embodiment is provided with circuit boards, photo diodes mounted on the circuit boards, X-ray detection elements that detect X-rays and convert the X-rays into light, and light waveguides that are provided between the photo diodes and the X-ray detection elements. The light waveguides connect the X-ray detection elements and the photo diodes such that the circuit boards will be arranged in an inclined state with respect to X-ray detection faces of the X-ray detection elements.
