Abstract:
The present invention relates to a technology relating to: a xylene diisocyanate composition in which the amount of a low-boiling-point compound is controlled; and a method for preparing same, in which, in producing xylene diisocyanate using phosgene, by controlling the purity of an amine compound and adjusting the amount range of a low-boiling-point compound in reactants, a high-purity xylene diisocyanate compound can be prepared with high yield.
