Abstract:
Provided is a yttrium aluminum garnet phosphor that emits luminescence in which a red component can be strengthened. The yttrium aluminum garnet phosphor is given by formula (1) below, and, when excited by excitation light with a wavelength of 450 nm, emits luminescence having an emission peak wavelength longer than 579 nm.
