Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain space saving of an automated warehouse and high efficiency of load transfer.SOLUTION: A stacker crane 100 for traveling along a rack, in which loads 300 are stored, to transfer the load from/to the rack 201, comprises: a carriage 101 traveling along the rack 201; a first lift base 121 and a second lift base 122 independently liftable relative to the carriage 101, respectively, in two reference positions arranged in a traveling direction; a first transfer device 131 and a second transfer device 132 attached to the lift bases, respectively, to transfer the load from/to the rack 201; and a first moving mechanism 141 and a second moving mechanism 142 which can independently move one transfer device in a direction of the reference position of the other transfer device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
