Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable image formation, even when a nonconforming toner container is used, by preventing the occurrence of filming, to prevent failure of an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a control part 100; and a conforming item determination part 103 that determines whether a toner container 17 attached to an apparatus body is a conforming item. When the toner container 17 is determined not to be a confirming item by the conforming item determination part 103, the control part 100 controls the operation of a conveying part 19 and an image forming part 12 to periodically perform processing of rotating a photoreceptor drum while a recording sheet is sandwiched at a transfer nip part to clean a surface of the photoreceptor drum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
