Abstract:
To provide a method for mass producing sporophytic seedlings of Matteuccia struthiopteris using spores, at low cost and in a simple manner.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing sporophytic seedlings of Matteuccia struthiopteris using spores thereof, including the steps of (1) obtaining prothallia from Matteuccia struthiopteris spores, (2) obtaining sporophytes from the prothallia, and (3) obtaining sporophytic seedlings that can be planted, from the sporophyte.
