Abstract:
To enable an electronic expansion valve to be controlled to become proper opening, even in a case where a temperature of an ice-making unit fluctuates largely due to ice-making water in such a situation when ice-making operation starts, in an ice-maker configured to cause a controller to control opening of the electronic expansion valve of a freezer, the freezer cooling the ice-making unit.SOLUTION: An ice-maker 10 is configured to: expand liquefied refrigerant pumped from a compressor 31 and liquefied in a condenser 32, at an electronic expansion valve 33 whose opening is controlled by a controller; cool an ice-making unit 11 with evaporative heat, which is obtained by evaporating the expanded liquefied refrigerant in an evaporator 34; cool ice-making water, delivered by a water delivery pump 25, by the cooled ice-making unit 11, and at the same time, recover unfrozen ice-making water in an ice-making water tank 21; and gradually freeze the ice-making water by the ice-making unit 11 to make ices. The ice-maker comprises water temperature detection means of detecting a temperature of ice-making water in the ice-making water tank 21. The controller is configured to, based on detection of the water temperature detection means, control the opening of the electronic expansion valve 33 in starting of the ice-making operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
