Abstract:
To enable an electronic expansion valve to be controlled to become proper opening, even in a case where a temperature of an ice-making unit fluctuates largely due to ice-making water in such a situation when ice-making operation starts.SOLUTION: An ice-maker 10 is configured to: expand liquefied refrigerant pumped from a compressor 31 and liquefied in a condenser 32, at an electronic expansion valve 33 whose opening is controlled by a controller; cool an ice-making unit 11 with evaporative heat, which is obtained by evaporating the expanded liquefied refrigerant in an evaporator 34; cool ice-making water, delivered by a water delivery pump 25, by the cooled ice-making unit 11, and at the same time, recover unfrozen ice-making water in an ice-making water tank 21; and gradually freeze the ice-making water by the ice-making unit 11 to make ices. When starting delivering ice-making water in the ice-making water tank 21 to the ice-making unit 11 by the water delivery pump 25, the ice-maker controls the opening of the electronic expansion valve 33 so as to become equal to or more than predetermined opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
