Abstract:
To reduce power consumption.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle repeating device is the on-vehicle repeating device for repeating data to be exchanged between a first on-vehicle unit connected to a first network and a second on-vehicle unit connected to a second network. The on-vehicle repeating device includes: a determination section that determines whether or not the first network is allowed to be an object of control to shift a network state together with the second network on the basis of data transmitted by the first on-vehicle unit; and a control section that transmits a request related to a shift of a network state to the second network when data from the first on-vehicle unit is received if the first network is allowed to be an object of control, and does not transmit a request related to a shift of a network state to the second network when data from the first on-vehicle unit is received if the first network is not allowed to be an object of control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
