Abstract:
To safely exchange a transfer flow channel with a new one while a melting furnace remains as it is.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a glass article is provided that comprises: a melting step of forming a molten glass Gm by melting a glass raw material Gr in a melting furnace 1; a transfer step of using a transfer flow channel 2 and transferring the molten glass Gm flowing out from an outflow port 1a of the melting furnace 1; and a molding step of molding the molten glass Gm transferred through the transfer flow channel 2 to a glass ribbon G using a molding apparatus 3. The manufacturing method of the glass article further comprises an exchange step of exchanging the transfer flow channel 2 with a new one while a blockage member 14 is arranged to block the outflow port 1a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
