Title:
FUEL CELL SYSTEM AND START-UP CONTROL PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019212466
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To rapidly control an internal temperature of a fuel cell stack to an operation temperature at which power generation is possible while inhibiting an internal temperature of a reformer from being made to exceed a predetermined threshold by heating caused by start-up operation.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 10 performs start-up operation of: supplying material gas without reducing its flow rate and at a flow rate equal to or higher than the minimum flow rate (e.g., maximum output) at which flame is not completely extinguished in combustion in a combustor 40 and the combustion can be retained to raise a temperature of a cell stack 16 to a temperature Tcs at which condensation of water vapor occurs; making the supply of the material gas stop when the temperature reaches a temperature Tref2 (around Tref1-30°C) slightly lower than a temperature Tref1 at which carbon deposition occurs in a reformer 14, on the basis of the considered fact that a rising gradient of an internal temperature of the reformer 14 changes depending on the flow rate of the material gas; and determining a timing of resuming the supply of the material gas while monitoring a temperature rise change rate (gradient) of the cell stack 16 (intermittent control of supply of material gas).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
