To detect whether or not a barrel lid is fixed.SOLUTION: A centrifugal barrel polishing machine A comprises: a plurality of rotary tanks 50 provided at eccentric positions of a turret 12 and rotating in a planetary manner; barrel lids 26 attachable to and detachable from the rotary tanks 50; a plurality of clamp shafts 32 provided separately in the plurality of rotary tanks 50 so as to integrally rotate with the rotary tanks 50 and displaceable between a fixing form that fixes the barrel lids 26 attached to the rotary tanks 50 and a fixing release form that releases the fixing of the barrel lids 26 to the rotary tanks 50; first detection means 40 for detecting whether or not the rotary tank 50 is located in a detection area D set on a revolution path of the rotary tank 50; and second detection means 43 for detecting whether or not the clamp shaft 32 of the rotary tank 50 located in the detection area D is displaced in the fixing form.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
