Abstract:
To provide an automatic machine which can improve positional accuracy of a movable section and a tool during operation of the movable section and the tool, even if the tool is mounted so as to operate independently of the movable section.SOLUTION: The automatic machine comprises: a movable section (12-15) that is driven by a drive section 35; a tool 16 that is mounted on the movable section, and has a movable mechanism 16b operating independently of the movable section; a measuring section 4 that is mounted on the movable mechanism 16b to measure a position of the movable mechanism 16b; a position detecting section 41 that detects a first position of the movable mechanism 16b when the movable mechanism 16b is virtually fixed at a reference point on the basis of the position of the movable mechanism 16b measured by the measuring section 4 when the drive section 35 is controlled according to a command to move the tool 16 to a target position, and an amount of movement of the movable mechanism 16b from the reference point in a range of movement of the movable mechanism 16b; and a learning control section 42 for determining an amount of correction to an amount of control of the drive section 35 so as to reduce a difference between the target position and the first position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
