Abstract:
To provide a socket in which stress cracks of a recess of a socket hole, especially, an apex angle of the recess are hardly generated in fastening.SOLUTION: A socket 10 according to the present invention used by being mounted on an output shaft of a power tool, and fastening/unfastening a fastening member includes: in a base end, a mounting cylindrical part 30 formed with an insertion angle 32 into which the output shaft is fitted; and at a tip side, a socket cylindrical part 22 formed with a socket hole 21 into which the fastening member is fitted. The socket hole is formed in a position retreating from the tip of the socket cylindrical part, and has a plurality of recesses 22 swollen toward the outer periphery, and the tip of the socket cylindrical part is formed with an annular step part 28 having an inner diameter circumscribed to the recess of the socket hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
