Abstract:
To provide a wide-angle image capturing lens that features a reduced outer diameter of a most object-side lens and offers reduced field curvature and high resolution from the center to periphery, and to provide an image capturing device having such wide-angle image capturing lens.SOLUTION: A wide-angle image capturing lens system 11 comprises, in order from the object side, a negative first lens L1 having a concave surface on the image side, a meniscus-shaped second lens L2 having a concave surface on the object side, a positive third lens L3 having a biconvex shape near an optical axis, an aperture stop STOP, a fourth lens L4 having an image-side surface with positive curvature, a fifth lens L5 having an object-side surface with positive curvature and an image side surface with negative curvature, and a sixth lens L6 having an object-side surface with negative curvature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
