To facilitate separation of a remaining material and a product after a workpiece has been separated.SOLUTION: A control device 5 of a laser processing machine 1 forms a first notch part 10A and a second notch part 10B in a remainder 35a accompanied by cutting of products 31 and 32 in a workpiece 30. The first notch part 10A includes a first crossing portion 11A and a first extension portion 12A. The first crossing portion 11A extends in a direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the remainder 35a from a position connected to the end on one side in the width direction of the remainder 35a. The first extension portion 12A is folded from the first crossing portion 11A. The second notch part 10B includes a second crossing portion 11B and a second extension portion 12B. The second crossing portion 11B extends to a direction crossing the longitudinal direction of the remainder 35a from a position connected to the end on the other side in the width direction of the remainder 35a. The second extension portion 12B is folded from the second crossing portion 11B.
