Abstract:
To improve reading accuracy of article information on an article to be purchased by a customer.SOLUTION: A sales system 100 includes a detection unit 1, a reading unit 2, a reading control unit 31, an article identification unit 32, and a user interface 4. The detection unit 1 detects opening/closing of a partition. The partition serves as a partition between a storage area and an external space. The reading unit 2 executes reading processing to read article information of an article 91 by wirelessly communicating with an electronic tag 92 in the storage area. The reading control unit 31 controls the reading unit 2 according to the detection result by the detection unit 1. The article identification unit 32 identifies a target article to be purchased by a customer on the basis of the reading result by the reading unit 2.
