Abstract:
To provide a detector that can achieve both accuracy and reduction of a load.SOLUTION: A detector comprises: a plurality of detection electrodes Rx; a detection circuit that is connected to the detection electrodes Rx and detects a detection signal according to a change in capacity of the detection electrodes Rx; and a connection circuit that connects or disconnects the detection electrodes Rx and the detection circuit. There are a plurality of selection patterns of the detection electrodes Rx and the detection circuit for bringing detection electrodes Rx of a first selection object among the plurality of detection electrodes Rx into a connection state where the detection electrodes are connected to the detection circuit, and bringing detection electrodes Rx of a second selection object not included in the first selection object into a non-connection state where the detection electrodes are not connected to the detection circuit. The plurality of selection patterns do not include a selection pattern for bringing the detection electrodes Rx of the first selection object into the non-connection state and the detection electrodes Rx of the second selection object into the connection state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11A
