To provide a method and related devices for a sensor system, using an electromechanical dielectric (EMD) film having a spread similar to at least a part of the surface of communications equipment.

The method for arranging the sensor system in the communications equipment has a step of disposing the electromechanical dielectric film integrated with the cover surface of communication equipment, a step which arranges one or a plurality of idle regions in an outer region in a cover for accessing the electromechanical dielectric film and which corresponds to an operational function where the idle region is to be performed, and a step connecting the electromechanical dielectric film to the electronic circuit means, associated with the corresponding operating functions of communications equipment in the exposed region.
