To provide an image capable of properly comprehending the situation on the outside with little discomfort.SOLUTION: The vision support image generator for generating a visibility support image for a vehicle includes: a camera that captures images from the vehicle; and a processing unit. The visibility support image is generated by converting an image captured by the camera by the processing unit. In the image conversion, the captured image is compressed so that, around the deep vanishing point included in the captured image, the compression rate in the horizontal direction of the captured image is higher than the compression rate in the vertical direction of the captured image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
