To improve the usability of an information processing device.SOLUTION: An information processing device 10 includes: a detecting unit 110 that detects the shape and motion of the one hand of a user; and an identifying unit 112 which identifies one character group CGR to which input a character belongs among the plurality of character groups CGR having a plurality of candidate characters that are the candidates of the input character on the basis of either one of the shape or motion of the one hand detected by the detecting unit 110, and which identifies the input character from the plurality of candidate characters belonging to the one character group CGR on the basis of the one of the shape and motion of the one hand detected by the detecting unit 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
