Abstract:
To provide a liquid jet device having a short droplet distance and a small size, and a liquid jet method in which a droplet distance is short.SOLUTION: A liquid jet device 1 has a nozzle 22 for jetting a liquid L, a liquid conveyance pipe 24 for conveying the liquid L to the nozzle 22, a vibration generation part 26 for generating vibration, a liquid feeding pump 5 for feeding the liquid L to the liquid conveyance pipe 24, and a control part 6 for outputting a signal giving the condition of the vibration to the vibration generation part 26, in which the vibration generation part 26 is brought into contact with any one of the liquid L, the nozzle 22 and the liquid conveyance pipe 24, when an inner diameter of the flow passage of the nozzle 22 is represented by D, a flow rate of the liquid by the liquid feeding pump 5 is represented by Q and a constant α satisfies 4≤α≤5, a frequency of vibration output to the vibration generation part 26 by the control part 6 is 4Q/(απD3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
