Abstract:
To obtain an awareness probability with high accuracy in such a case that an item is recommended to a user, in obtaining the awareness probability which is a probability that the user notices the item, as compared to the case that the awareness probability when the user did not purchase the item is set to a fixed value.SOLUTION: A prediction model 18 learns a probability that a user u prefers an item i using a probability that the user u notices the item i as a weight. In learning data, when the item i is recommended to the user u and the user u has not purchased the item i, the prediction model 18 learns the probability that the user u prefers the item i while using, as a weight, a corrected awareness probability calculated from a value obtained by adding a recommendation parameter representing a condition that affects a probability that the user u notices the recommended item i to a basic parameter representing a basic awareness probability when the effect of the item i being recommended to the user u is not considered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
