Abstract:
To provide a conductive roller which comprises a roller body with an outer periphery coated with an oxide film and is capable of maintaining its properties even after repeated use over a longer period of time than present, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A conductive roller 1 has an oxide film 6 with a hydroxyl group expressed therein covering an outer periphery 5 of a roller body 2. A manufacturing method comprises a step of forming the oxide film 6 by irradiating the outer periphery 5 of the roller body 2 with ultraviolet rays of a cumulative intensity in a range of 300 mJ/cm2 or greater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
