To make it possible to determine an application rule for new round robin decision making based on the total sum of numerical values of setting items in the new round robin decision making and applied round robin decision making satisfying conditions common to the new round robin decision making.SOLUTION: An application rule determination step of an electronic settlement method includes: a step S102 of determining a first adoption candidate for an application rule based on rule definition data and new round robin decision making data; a step S103 of searching for reference round robin decision making data satisfying common conditions in applied round robin decision making data; a step S104 of substituting a setting value of a specific numerical value item in the new round robin decision making data with the total values of the setting values of the specific numerical value items in the new round robin decision making data and the reference round robin decision making data, and determining a second adoption candidate for the application rule based on the rule definition data and the substituted new round robin decision making data; and a step S107 of, when a result of determination of the second adoption candidate different from the first adoption candidate can be obtained, setting the second adoption candidate as an adoption application rule.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
