Abstract:
To provide a steering device configured to transmit a driving force of an electric motor to a moving force application mechanism by a belt, which can suppress the impairment of air permeability inside and outside a housing while ensuring workability when working on the belt from the outside of the housing.SOLUTION: A steering device 1 comprises a rack shaft 12, a housing 2, a moving force application mechanism 4, and a belt 40 for transmitting a driving force of an electric motor 3 to the moving force application mechanism 4. The housing 2 has a ventilation structure part 20 that allows work on the belt 40 from the outside and allows air to flow. The ventilation structure part 20 has a detachable member 6 attached to a through hole 200 of the housing 2, a holding member 71 that holds a filter member 70 and is formed with a ventilation hole 720 opening in a direction intersecting the through hole 200, and a wall part 62 provided so as to surround the holding member 71.
