Abstract:
To provide an additive modeling device and a method for controlling the additive modeling device, by which an overall modeling quality of a model can be made more uniform regardless of a shape of the model.SOLUTION: An additive molding device includes: a powder supply device for supplying metal powder 2 onto a modeling surface 4; laser systems 30, 40 for causing the metal powder 2 to melt at predetermined positions of the metal powder 2 supplied to the modeling surface 4; first thermometers 36, 46 and a second thermometer 50 for measuring temperature changes in respective regions of the modeling surface 4; and a control device 70 for controlling the laser systems 30, 40, wherein the control device 70 determines laser irradiation conditions for the next layer on the basis of temperature changes subsequent to irradiation of the modeling surface 4 with a beam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
