Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a tube type halogen incandescent lamp with excellent vibration resistance and a long life by shrinking a light emitting tube in diameter at the portion faced to the nonluminous section of a coil filament for use as the holding section of the coil filament, and containing no hydrogen in the light emitting tube. CONSTITUTION:A coil filament 20 is arranged along the tube axis of a light emitting tube 10 made of alumina silicate glass. The coil filament 20 is constituted of a luminous section 21 and a nonluminous section 24 connecting the luminous section 21, and a short circuit core wire 23 is inserted to the rough coil- shaped section 22 of the nonluminous section 24. The light emitting tube 10 is shrunk at the portion faced to the nonluminous section 22 for use as the holding section 11 of the coil filament 20. The gas not containing hydrogen and containing bromine and rare gas is sealed in the light emitting tube 10. A tube type halogen incandescent lamp having excellent vibration resistance and not causing a short life due to excessive hydrogen can be obtained.
