Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a halogen lamp be put off safely in the event of filament severance by precluding arc discharge from being generated in the part where a lead is embedded, and allowing a fuse furnished at the lamp to blow while arc discharge is generated in the neck part.
CONSTITUTION: A bead 7 is provided in a halogen lamp, and internal leads 2, 2' and an anchor wire 10 are embedded in the bead 7 and fastened, and a neck part 9' is formed by shaping part of the foremost extremities of the internal leads 2, 2' or by embedding an easy-to-discharge lead 11 together with these internal leads.
