Abstract:
The zirconium alloy includes (wt.%) 0.3-1.8 tin, 0.1-0.65 iron, 0.003-0.015 silicon, 0.005-0.02 carbon and 0.09-0.22 oxygen. The alloy has a microstructure of Zr3Fe second phase precipitate distributed uniformly intra-granularly and inter- granularly, forming radiation resistant second phase precipitates in the alloy magnets. The second phase Zr3Fe precipitates in the alloy have an average diameter of 40-300 nm.
