Abstract:
A vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser optical module includes a base with an opening. A vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser element is arranged in the base. The vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser element includes single or a plurality of laser chips with symmetric arrangement and the laser chips facing the opening. An optical lens structure is configured on the base and coves the opening. The light from the laser chips may emit in parallel by passing through the optical lens structure. This vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser optical module may effectively decrease the light consumption to have the advantage of decreasing electric cost.
