Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the reproduced images of the image densities always adequate for a document even if environmental conditions change by selecting one from plural pieces of gradation correction data in accordance with the initial potential of a photosensitive body and the environmental conditions. CONSTITUTION:A printer control section 201 sends the numerical data, such as grid voltage and developing bias voltage, and the environmental conditions detected by a temp. and humidity sensor 205 to a printer head control section 202. The control section 202 selects one from the plural conversion tables for thetacorrection stored in a data ROM 217 in accordance with the supplied numerical data on the grid voltage and developing bias voltage and the detected environmental conditions. A laser diode 221 is controlled via a laser auto driver 220 in accordance with the selected conversion table for theta correction.
