Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding, having a continuous excellent appearance through an entire length, whose production and installation are easy and which can form a weir on the side part and also change at near the corner to form a substantially flash surface at an upper part or drip groove part, and its effective production method. SOLUTION: A window molding or drip molding installed along a clearance 13, in the side S of a vehicular window 2 is composed of a first member 21 installed on a window plate 3 side and a second member 22 installed on a car body panel 1 side. In the first member 21, a leg part 21b with the same height is extended from a head part 21a and in the second member, a leg part 22b with a different height is extended from a head part 22a and forms a dam 24 on the side part S and also changes at near the corner and forms a flash surface at an upper part or drip groove part and the first/second members 21, 22 are integrated at the leg part and inserted in the clearance 13.
