Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize bidirectional document distribution. SOLUTION: A document distribution server 10 generates a locker 14 which is a virtual document cabinet for document distribution, in response a request from a user and stores a list of sharing persons of the locker 14. The document distribution server 10 provides a web page, on which the locker of a document upload destination can be designated. If a user A uses the web page and designates the locker 14 to upload a document, the document distribution server 10 stores the document in the locker 14 and transmits e-mail including the URL of a web page for downloading the document to a user B registered in the list of sharing persons of the locker 14. The user B acquires the document from a page for downloading, adds edition and uploads its edition results to the locker 14 by using a web page for uploading. Then, the user A can download the document in a manner similar to that above.
