Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform generator that can generate smooth sweep waveforms. SOLUTION: This waveform generator 1 is provided with a waveform parameter data memory that stores a plurality of sets of waveform parameter data to generate a unit sweep waveform corresponding to a sweep period for a prescribed time length and an address-generating circuit 12 that generates address data DAP to read the waveform parameter data from the waveform parameter data memory for each updated time with a prescribed time length, where a joint waveform of a plurality of unit sweep waveforms corresponding to a plurality of sweep periods can be generated, on the basis of a plurality of the waveform parameter data, sequentially read from the waveform parameter data memory for each update time. In this case, the update time is individually set by each sweep period.
