Abstract:
To provide a liquid crystal display device having a new pixel configuration.
The liquid crystal display device has a plurality of pixels each of which includes; a liquid crystal cell; n pieces of first memory, n pieces of second memory electrically connected to the n pieces of first memory respectively; and a means for determining a period when the liquid crystal cell is turned on, on the basis of image information which digital video signals stored in the n pieces of second memory have. This means has a counter circuit.
