To provide a double-sided adhesive sheet having excellent optical properties and good in reworkability.

The double-sided adhesive sheet which is to be used in sticking and fixing a touch panel onto the display surface of a display device is such one that both sides of an optically isotropic or uniaxial transparent base are provided with transparent adhesive layers respectively. When the touch panel is to be stuck and fixed onto the display surface of the display device, one side of this adhesive sheet is stuck almost onto the whole surface of the touch panel, the other side almost onto the whole display surface of the display device, and it is preferable that this adhesive sheet is re-releasable from the display surface of the display device as well as the touch panel.
