Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the body frame of a motor-assisted bicycle. SOLUTION: The body frame 2 is formed of a mutually connected front frame 22 and rear frame 23. The rear frame 23 is made of an aluminum die casting divided into a left frame part 23L and a right frame part 23R, and a battery box 16 for housing a battery is provided between both the parts. An assist unit 1 is suspended on the rear frame 23. A hanger part 70b for the assist unit is arranged between bosses 25BR and 25BL, and co-fastened with the rear frame 23.
